May 10, 2020

Organized by the event Apymespa, local business association, it will analyze the uncertainties and expectations of reopening, and the labor problems involved.

Tomorrow, Monday, at 6:00 p.m., will be the meeting, VIRTUAL, called by the Apymespa Association of Entrepreneurs, to learn first-hand about the novelties of PHASE 0 and the expected PHASE 1, the conditions for the reopening of the premises and how to restart the activity.

In a first part, the ministerial order published yesterday will be examined, which will allow the businessmen the possibility of planning their return to activity, according to the capacity, health and opening conditions that the different premises must meet according to the economic sector.

The need for the meeting arises from the recommendation to attend to “Positive Law” (the one published in the BOE, in force) as the only source of security for the next possible phases, remembering that Malaga is still in PHASE 0.

The second part will analyze five possible scenarios for reopening depending on whether or not there are workers  on the payroll, from those self-employed people who were receiving the benefit for cessation of activity, to those who have implemented some type of ERTE in their business, or simply they have “self-organized” without resorting to that temporary job adjustment figure.

In this case, the presentation will allow the attendee to foresee the number of people to be disaffected from the ERTE in an uncertain scenario, the compatibility or not of the payment of the benefit for cessation of activity and the reopening of the business, or the possibility of reincorporating part of the staff even part-time, adapting it to the needs of the business and based on the restoration of demand, these issues that do not find a precise regulation in the BOE: and on which the Social Security and the General Directorate of Labor have issued paths clarifications.

The presentations will be made by Ana García, Apymespa president, and the lawyers Miguel Ángel Jiménez. Secretary of Apymespa, and of Carlos Cómitre, of Law 57 Lawyers. ASSISTANCE IS FREE PRIOR TO REGISTRATION AND INVITATIONS CAN BE OBTAINED BY CLICKING HERE.
